Check In for 2023 and a Health and Wellness Update

Peace, love and light everyone. My first blog post of 2023, sorry it’s taken so long, you’ll see why.

The week of January 30th, I made it out to the river!!!!!Β  One of my favorite places! Check out my video below. Do something this week that will make you smile, happy, calm, that includes self-love and self-care (exercising those are not selfish either). You could be outside or inside but if you can physically get out and it’s nice out, then get outside.

I love going to my places of peace and giving thanks. There’s a lot to be grateful for. I’m in a season where I am not trying to give the enemy my energy or the attacks that have taken place. I just know that something bigger, brighter and better is coming for me, my son, my special loved one, family and friends that choose to be on this positive trail with us. No negativity or past stuff allowed that is not going to serve us.

I got a lot done that week and on my list before Friday the 3rd as I was preparing for surgery. It was a priority to go to the river, meditate and pray. I’m so glad I made it out there. The sky was perfect, the river was calm, and peace washed over me. I prayed for my overall health and wellness, the doctors, surgeon (who is my amazing GYN doc), my son’s mental and emotional health because he was worried, my loved one who has been by my side and helping me from feeding me ice chips, tying my shoes, making me meals…I’m thankful.

Praying for all of those who are striving for better health and wellness. Getting a full hysterectomy was a huge step forward. Women shouldn’t have to suffer when it comes to fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal cells in the cervix (had those cells removed twice), cysts on and in ovaries (I dealt with all of this) which led to painful and long menstrual cycles.

Insurance has tried me for 8 years, year after year of denials, but in the end…I won and was approved to get a full hysterectomy through the DaVinci Surgery method. Thank you to those who’ve shared their stories, I went in not anxious and at peace. Now the healing begins. Resting and taking it very easy.

I know my Mom is happy up there. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ She had Ovarian cancer and lost her battle 13 years ago this month.

Much love to all of you. And if you have a health condition that needs to be addressed, don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself and as tiring as it is, keep fighting to get the approval you need to get what you need done. If you can’t advocate for yourself, then find someone who will be yours for you.

My prayer for you is that the blessings are going to be so abundant, the overflow is going to be magnificently poured out onto you this year and those who are around you who choose to accept the blessings, positivity and are worthy. We deserve it!!!! I’m ready for open door season!

Much love to all!
